ギャング・オブ・フォー新作『Return the Gift』の続報

　昨年にオリジナル・ラインナップで再結成を果たしたギャング・オブ・フォー。その彼らの本格的な復活を告げるニュー・アルバムについての続報です。

　以前にお伝えしたように新作は、代表曲の新録ヴァージョンとリミックス音源を特色とするCD2枚組となる予定で、最終的にアルバム・タイトルは『Return the Gift』に決定したとのこと。過去の代表曲を再レコーディングしたディスク1の内容は以前にもお伝えしましたが、ついにリミックス音源を特色としたディスク2の内容も判明！以前から噂されていたヤー・ヤー・ヤーズ、ザ・ダンディ・ウォーホルズ、レディトロンをはじめ、ホット・ホット・ヒート、アザーズらによるリミックス音源が全13曲収録される模様です。発売はUK盤が9月19日に、US盤は10月11日に、日本盤(V2CP-238～9 \2,940(税込))が9月28日にそれぞれ予定。なお日本盤にはボーナス・トラックを追加収録する予定もあるそうです。名曲たちをどうアレンジしているのか、気になる方はお忘れなく！
