デュラン・デュラン、初期シングルをCD3枚にコンパイル！全40曲入り

　最新作が待たれるデュラン・デュラン（Duran Duran）より、ファン注目アイテムが到着！　バンド初期のシングルを3枚のCDにまとめたシングル・コレクション・アルバム『The Singles 81-85』（写真）が発売されます。

　アルバム名にあるように、本作では1981年から1985年にかけて発表されたシングル（7インチ、12インチ）をCD3枚にコンパイル。デビュー曲「Planet Earth」から「A View to a Kill（邦題：007／美しき獲物たち）」までのシングルを網羅した全40曲が収録されます。

　アルバムでは「Save A Prayer」「Is There Something I Should Know（邦題：プリーズ・テル・ミー・ナウ）」「Union Of The Snake」「The Reflex」などのヒット・シングルに収録されたタイトル曲やB面曲などが楽しめます。発売は英国にて10月19日。

　なお、これに先駆け、9月にはバンドの代表作である『リオ』がCD2枚組のスペシャル・エディションとなって再発されます。こちらもお忘れなく！
