ステイタス・クォーのBBC音源集が3作リリース
英国の国民的人気バンド、ステイタス・クォーのBBC音源集が発売に。『Live At The BBC』というタイトルのシリーズになっており、英国・欧州で3タイトルが同時リリースとなります。発売日は4月9日の予定。
『〜Vol.1: 1973』（写真）は、1973年3月にロンドンのパリス・シアターで行なったライヴから8曲に加え、同年11月の『John Peel Radio Session』からも3曲を収録。また、『〜Vol.2: 1988』には88年7月のウェンブリー・アリーナ公演から12曲、『Vol.3: 1990』には90年6月、ネブワースでのライヴから22曲を収めています。彼らのハード・ブギーが最大の魅力を発揮するのは、やはりライヴにおいて。これまでにもライヴ作品は多々残されていますが、70・80・90年代と、時代ごとのパフォーマンスをこれだけ楽しめるのは貴重なのでは？ マニアは要チェックです。
